On Thursday, the Burn Island Treasure Chest received an exhilarating refresh, unveiling a trove of new treasures awaiting discovery. Featuring 36 new treasures the excitement was palpable. Within a few hours every item was claimed. Standouts from the Treasure Chest included the Series 1 Core G.O.O. VeeFriends Vending 101: A Recap of Tuesday’s Panel With Scott Jochim
On Tuesday, Chase and Scott Jochim delved into the numerous opportunities presented by VeeFriends Vending. The session showcased two captivating 48-hour promotions, which had concluded by the time this recap is released. These promotions included receiving two bags of minis for free with the purchase of a single machine, valued at $250, or getting one machine free with the purchase of four. The virtual gathering attracted a multitude of participants on meet.veefriends.com and drew in hundreds more across VeeFriends’ social media channels. Scott Jochim, a seasoned expert in the field, shared his eight tried-and-tested strategies for vending success, leaving the audience with many insights. Viewers even had the opportunity to join the panel onstage, posing their burning questions and fueling engaging discussions. The panel discussion, spanning an hour, was a dynamic exchange of knowledge and enthusiasm.

VeeFriends Vendor Spotlight — Remedy WEST
Who is Remedy WEST?
Remedy WEST is Wyatt, Ella, Savannah, and Todd Demery. They are a family that thrives on challenge and finds joy in everyday moments. Both Todd and Savannah are United States Army veterans, having served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Todd is currently an Aviation mechanic working on his bachelor’s degree in aviation, while Savannah is a disabled veteran due to injuries sustained during service who currently focuses on home and family. The family holds a steadfast faith in Christ, centering their lives on love and kindness, believing that living in the likeness of Christ entails loving God and loving others, with Christ-like compassion and kindness at the heart of all their actions.
Why Did Remedy WEST Become a VeeFriends Vendor?
Remedy WEST was attracted to the VeeFriends community in November 2023. Their involvement started when they bought items from community member, Josh Courage and became intrigued by the positivity and light spread within the community. Their journey with VeeFriends vending began when Ella pulled a Diamond Resourceful Robin One of One card. This event inspired them to start a vending business with their kids, kickstarting their entrepreneurial journey.
What advice would Remedy WEST offer to entrepreneurs considering starting a business?
Remedy WEST advises other parents or guardians interested in starting a vending business with their kids to do it, even if they’re scared or uneducated about it. They emphasize the importance of hands-on experience and learning along the way, encouraging others not to let anything hold them back. They believe that kids long for purpose and that the sense of responsibility and eagerness to learn that comes from entrepreneurship can be incredibly beneficial.
Which VeeFriend Character is Remedy WEST’s favorite, or is most relatable to their culture?
Remedy WEST’s favorite VeeFriends character is the Kind Warrior, while Ella is a big fan of the Fearless Fairy. The Kind Warrior resonates with Remedy WEST due to their own life experiences and belief in the power of kindness. Ella was deeply moved by the Fearless Fairy comic feature, and the character’s message brings her joy every day.
Any cool or special results Remedy WEST would like to share about VeeFriends Vending?
Being a VeeFriends vendor has been an amazing experience for Remedy WEST as a family. Their first vending machine is located in the beautiful border town of Lynden, Washington, inside Gems and Games at 517B Front St. They’ve seen consistent profits and are excited to offer bounties that include VeeFriends collectibles, cards, and local items. Their kids have also learned valuable skills and gained confidence through their involvement in the vending business. Remedy WEST is grateful for the opportunity to build something tangible with their kids and provide them with a sense of purpose and future. Through this journey, they’ve witnessed their children’s capabilities and are proud of the individuals they are becoming. They feel that starting their children on a path of loving what they do and finding joy in it is a significant accomplishment.
What are some things Remedy WEST (or the kids) have learned on their VeeFriends Vending Journey?
Ella and Wyatt have learned practical skills such as counting coins, managing a bank ledger, and handling banking tasks. More importantly, they’ve experienced the sense of accomplishment and confidence that comes from running a successful business. Both kids are deeply invested in the venture and eagerly participate in discussions about promotions, shop ideas, and future plans.
